Karsavina (Bride and Gift Bearer)
Reconstruction of a costume in the manner of L.Bakst’s sketch (1912).
"The Blue God" ballet.
The Bride:
biscuit porcelain, silk, mohair. The fabric for a skirt is embroidered by hand after the Bakst's sketch. The hand embroidery of the costume is made of natural pearls, glass beads and tinsels. Marabou’s and ostrich's feathers decorate the headdress.

Biscuit porcelain, silk, mohair, hand embroidery, gold lace, tinsels; leather, jewelry. Hand painting of faces.
